I found this to be a wonderful series that was extremely well done. I usually will not watch something with subtitles, but 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' was so entertaining that I did not mind the subtitles.

I’ve watched the first episode and thought it delightful. The lead actress is very amusing. Not too many autistic lawyers around, and many people with autism have much more difficult lives, but her abilities remind me a bit of the veterinarian Temple Grandin. I’ve watched several series from South Korea on Netflix and enjoyed most of them. I like learning about foreign languages, so even though I don’t understand a word they say, I watch them in Korean with subtitles.

There are also some excellent series about Korean food. What I call food porn—it looks so good, even if I might not want to eat it in real life.

Yes, I agree. It is fascinating to see autism with a genius IQ as an attorney. Its also reveals South Korean attorneys and the courts. I will keep watching.

You can watch it with dubbing in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Hindi and Spanish. A lot of times, I will watch something in its original language and use the English subtitles because the dubbing is so bad. Not the case here. The English dubbing is very good.

The Gimbap that Young-woo eats all the time reminds me of the Makizushi that I like so much.

"The Outfit" is on Prime and is a great old-school gangsta film. It gets a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
"The Mare Of Eastwood. is on HBO plus and is a modern-day whodunnit set in a small city in eastern Pa. It is much more than that. It puts a microscope on nearly ordinary people responding to extraordinary events. There are many curveballs and plot twists. Mare is a middle-aged mother with several skeletons in her closet. She is the only detective on a very small police force. I tried hard, but I could NOT figure out the mystery.
"Pennyworth" a prequel of Batman's butler is on HBO max and there are 3 seasons. This is not for everyone because it is more fiction than fact, but not a completely dumb comics film either. It is less fantasy than "Game of Thrones" but at about that same level of acting and production quality. The actors have very heavy 1940s English accents, which adds to the interest. There is a lady character with red hair that plays a unique role and is rather unforgettable. If you liked something over-the-top like "Bad Santa" .......you would like this.
"Barry" also on HBO plus is a comedy about a hitman that wants to stop hitting, but the world keeps getting in his way. It is well done (acting and writing).and has just enough serious spots to make the funny parts - extra funny. There is one supporting character that has a shaved head and is part of some less-than-professional eastern European crime gang. Pay special attention to his smooth dance moves, if you watch it.

There’s another Korean show on Netflix to check out called Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. English and subtitles. Very well done like Attorney Woo.

Try “K Foodshow: A Nation of Broth” or “Korean Cold Noodle Rhapsody” or “Korean Porkbelly Rhapsody.” You’ll learn a lot!
Yes “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is delightful and fun.
“Squid Game” is dark and violent and got great reviews in the U.S.
“Vincenzo” is about a Korean raised in Italy by a godfather. He’s good at heart, of course, and returns to Korea to right wrongs.
I’ve seen others I’ve enjoyed, but I can’t find them right now. It’s interesting how—much more than American shows—it seems that there has to be male and female leads who are very beautiful and wear great clothes. And the guy’s skin is as flawless as the girl’s, and he wears a lot of makeup, including lipstick. Goes with the genre. Also, it may take twelve episodes of romantic tension before the first kiss, and there is no sex or nudity.

Amazing, stunning, and incredible! The lead actress is so good that people think she is actually on the Spectrum. One of the most creative series I've ever seen
