Great action show.

If you liked shows like "The Shield" you will like this show.

It hooked me after the first episode. Check it out and watch an episode or two.

I've watched the show. I think he's a good actor. I'm having a brainfart and can't think of his name right now. Loved his work on HBO's Deadwood.

I think his name is Timothy Oliphant, and he's a decent actor. I've also watched Justified from the beginning but I wish I could say it's a good show. IMHO it's a horrible show and I can't believe they keep renewing it. Why do I watch it? Because there's nothing else at 10 o'clock on Tuesdays. I was disappointed when "Lights Out" didn't get renewed and "Lucky" with Dustin Hoffman was cancelled. They were both far better TV than Justified. The Shield and The Wire were both excellent.

Love the show but now I'm afraid to stay in Kentucky on my way back to MI.
Best season was with the old lady that is now on The Americans.
She can be one intimidating lady.

He also was the lead in Hitman (movie). I did not initially recognize him in Justified until I saw the name in the credits.

Agreed, the first episode when he has no problem setting up a mafia guy in Miami was the "hook" and there have been a few exciting ones over the last three years but you have to admit the story-line is pretty thin. I wonder from the US Marshals' perspective if they think Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens helps or hurts their image? He could only get away with his street justice style in Kentucky.

I am also a fan of Justified. i happen to like many of the stories written by Elmore Leonard. elmore Leonard said that Timothy Olymphat does an ecellent job as the protagonist in fire In The Hole rylan given's except his protagonist hat had a smaller brim but Leonard could not get TO to change hat. Leonard is responsible for Mr. Majestky, Hombre, Get shorty, 52 Pick Up the Moonshine War and so mant more books movies and TV shows.

Yaw'll have answered my earlier question, "Why do they continue to renew this show?" I like the concept of the bad sheriff. It's the lack of a decent story that fails me. Maybe that's why the show Banshee on Cinemax appeals to me.

You are correct in putting this at the top of the list of really good shows. I love the character Rayland and even the bad guys are played well. Can't wait for next season.

I love the show also. Not only are the good guys such great characters, but the bad guys (and girls) are also wonderful characters.
