I must say, things are getting even more interesting than usual in Harlan County.

I'm sure he can. I wonder how long Boyd's new alliance will last.

Its one of my favorite shows too.

Looks like they intend to end on a high note.

With the number dying each week---probably wouldn't be anyone alive by then anyway. My family is from Harlan County (I was born and went to school there in Lynch, Ky (about 25 miles from Harlan) and I really have to agree with my Auntie Jo who is very vocal about her dislike of this show. She says "I was born and raised in Harlan County and I never saw anybody like that." The street scene at the beginning was actually filmed in Lynch---the rooftop town scene is really Harlan, Ky., but I understand the show is actually filmed in California. Have my DVR set up to record each and every week--

Love the show. The story line is starting to get a little bit unbelievable at times, so it's probably a good thing they are planning to end it. But the acting is outstanding.

Better they end on a high note than "jump the shark".

I think everyone realizes that the show is fictional and is in no way a reflection of the fine people of Kentucky.

Having grown up in Harlan County---I certainly realize it is fictional but my Auntie Jo's reaction always makes me laugh---especially when my Uncle starts kidding her-----

Kentucky is a beautiful State---my small coal-mining town of Lynch was one big family----caring, hard working and proud. Have reconnected with so many on social media and even though we don't see each other very often---we still are family. It is still my home and I love going back whenever I can.

My fellow Ohioans may get on me for this, but I often had to make the trip from Toledo, Ohio to Glasgow, Ky. I remember that as I crossed the Ohio River, the scenery changed. I have always thought that Kentucky is one of the prettiest states and I always enjoyed my time there.

I do love this show. So much has happened in the past few season. If it is ending like some are saying, then let's do it on a high note.
