Default Political Animals....Newsroom

Has anyone been watching these two?? I love both of them, The Newsroom is in my opinion a program that finally shows some intellect...Political Animals is just mind candy but does seem to show the pressure that politicians are under and also shows the humanity. I really, really don't want to get into the politics of either..just wanted to know if you are enjoying these programs also.

I just did a TiVo search for the newsroom and couldn't find it. Would you happen to know what night, station it's on? Thanks,

That opening scene from episode one of The Newsroom is one of the most powerful, thought provoking pieces of television writing I've ever seen. Check it out on YouTube.

Love it, love it, love it! The Newsroom is my favorite new show! I missed the beginnings, but I'm getting caught up with HBO On Demand.

It knocked my socks off. I was so happy to see an intelligent TV program for a change!

I have HBO for free for 6 months, and I will keep it forever if they continue Newsroom forever.

Default Newsroom season II

So as of today Newsroom has been on 2 weeks.
'whachathink'

I read somewhere, that overall it is in trouble ratings wise. Too much news chatter. (go figure).
What the write said the viewers are looking for is more personal stories of the characters.

My wife and I LIKE the news chatter and I for one can do without the 'soap-opera' like story line.

still watchin'

Aln, I'm still watchin' too, but I agree with you. It's not last season's Newsroom, that's for sure.
