I like watching Reacher, but I am having trouble following the plot. Why can't they make the plot easier to follow?

If you've read all the Reacher books, it's like a high school football game, instead of the NFL.

I made it through 2 episodes. You'd think the Producers would have had the Writers read the Reacher series and have some understanding of the original character.

The idea is to HOOK the audience into the attempt to UNRAVEL and predict the plot in FUTURE episodes. I like it because there is a fight scene of some kind about every 10 minutes. I like the flashbacks also, but they can be confusing sometimes. He finally got in bed with the woman officer, but the sex scene was pretty mundane for today's audience.

I frequently fall asleep while watching something, sometimes sleeping through an entire episode. Then, of course, the plot seems confusing. So I rewatch the episode or sometimes the series. That always helps. The plot of reacher is a bit convoluted but not too difficult, though there are some changes in time—flashbacks.

Reacher is a delightful series. I taught Detective Fiction for twenty-five years, and my students loved the Reacher novels. I enjoyed them, but thought they were not distinguished by literary style. The actor playing Reacher in this series is just right. He seems like a man of honor and a genuinely nice guy, even though his choice to be an extreme loner suggests some severe psychological problems. I enjoy his soft-spoken ways. I would not like to live the way he lives.

Because I enjoyed it so much, I watched the 1st series twice. Can't say there was anything confusing about it. Waiting for all the episodes to fall because I hate waiting between them.
