If you liked Landman, you’ll also like Tulsa King.

I couldn’t get through it. The daughter and wife drive me crazy.

All of Taylor Sheridan's shows are great, but I agree that TK and Landman are prob my 2 favorites.

That's by design. The characters are well developed to come off exactly that way. They're like the modern day TX version of CA Valley Girls from the 80s, who were even more annoying and yet also accurately portrayed.

As for Tulsa King, not for me. I just get sick of Stallone being the same character for the last 45 years. |

Ever notice how Taylor Sheridan's series are drawn out long footage of open landscape scenery
that could be shorten up somewhat? Between the commercials and long panoramic views, a hour series could be condensed into 1/2 hour. He's a good writer though |

I really enjoyed Landman, but I enjoy all of Sheridan's shows. As for the wife and daughter, I thought they were very important parts of the show. Thornton's character is always dealing with one crisis after another, and would be very one dimensional but his whole character changes with the two women. He's very soft and quite endearing with them, which makes him irresistible.... and funny.
