Love this show! Billy Bob Thornton is so good in this as he is in most of his roles. I love the educational aspect of the show also.

Excellent writing. Love the music & don't mind the long time spent on the landscape shots; explains to me how desolate TX can be.
Great acting by Billy Bob & his tv son. Wife & daughter are terribly annoying.

If you can handle the frequency of the F word, it's an enjoyable & sometimes informative (for me) series.

It was a good series but…if someone doused you with gasoline would you really light a cigarette without catching on fire? That scene was a bit too violent for me…and then there was that cigarette…it lost its credibility for me.

Between the commercials and long panoramic views, a hour series could be condensed into 1/2 hour.

He's a good writer though
Good writer, but I wish he and his steroid-fueled ego would keep his own self out of his shows. He has to inject himself by writing a character for himself into his products. He did it as Travis in Yellowstone, and I understand he does it again in Season 2. Blowhard.

Maybe. But if someone that talented wants to write himself a small cameo, I take no issue. Better way to get there than using the casting couch.

Liked them all and if you're waiting for 1923, watch Yellowstone first - very good as well!

Daughter and wife gratuitous and honestly embarrassing the daughter is in hi school? Lend nothing to plot.

The music videos in Sheridan shows are indeed time eaters, he has an obligation to Paramount to fill so many hours of programming

He also wrote the two Sicario movies if you’re bored one night.

If you had read through this whole thread you’d have seen there are some who are still watching, or others who haven’t started yet, so this spoiler was inconsiderate.

Billy Bob Thornton is a nut job and not a very good actor. Has anyone noticed how all of the channels that used to be free with their TV shows are all slowly switching over to some service that you have to pay for?

Very good show, but it would be better if they could do with more moderate language. I am getting tired of all the cussing on TV. I do too much of that myself.

Agree, with the fumes I wouldn’t have match near, but IT’s dramatically portrays chain smoker IMO. Gasoline in open environment dissipates rapidly to fumes in open large building. But cloths would still saturated and producing fumes in real world.
