Overall pretty good! But NONE of these current singers can hold a candle. Their voices sound very thin compared to the original. Of course, the bar is about as high as it gets!

Lady GaGa was amazing. Tony Bennett was also very strong. I was surprised at his strong voice. Surprised that Usher could actually sing...and very well.

There are very few shows on television that are well done but the Sinatra special was very good. The commercials weren't bad either! LOL

I really liked Carrie Underwood's rendition of "Someone To Watch Over Me"
by the peerless George Gershwin and lyrics by his brother Ira.

Lady Gaga shows her great talent with New York, New York. I sure she keeps singing songs, from that genre. As we all know, she has become close friends with Tony Bennett and Tony seems determined to keep "The American Songbook", alive.

BTW - Tony still sings great for someone close to 90. Amazing voice and talent.

Who knew Seth McFarland could sing?
Lady GaGa, Tony Bennett, Trisha Yearwood...Celine Dion, Harry Connick we do have some talent today.

Such memories...why do I know the words to songs that were popular before I was born???

Alicia Keys, Seth MacFarlane, Usher, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood... all standouts. It was a good show all around.

Dang. I wanted to see the show, but got busy and forgot about it.

Frank, Frank, Frank has always been my favorite singer and we share the same birthday date (except for the year) [:-)}

Thanks for the nice mini reviews. Sounds like I missed out big time.

Really enjoyed the show...some great talent. Amazing fact they mentioned was that he recorded like 300 songs in a ten year period.
Only negative was they should have closed with a film of him doing the entire song "My Way"
