On the show today, Gerard Butler the actor, said that every January 1st his parents leave Scotland to go to a place in Florida called The Villages where they spend several months enjoying sun and fun in the pools. He said they've been doing this for 10 years.

Didn't meet or see Gerard but met his mother and a friend at the recreation expo last Saturday. They were looking at the RVs. I had a nice chat with his Mom. She is a lovely lady.

Mr. Butler had said in a short blurb in the Villages Daily Sun about how impressed he was with the Villages or something like that. The paragraph was about his parents living here.

I know we have some parents of golfers or golfers; casting directors or ex-casting directors or assistant to casting directors (Saving Private Ryan) as well as many others with some connection to sports and/or Hollywood.
