The internet speed quoted by the cable companies is the maximum speed that they will give you. They don't quote you a minimum speed.
In some parts of The Villages Century Link uses twisted pairs of copper wire to the house. That technology worked well at the beginning of the last century for telephone service but will not work for modern data needs. Century Link is adding equipment to the boxes around The Villages but until they start replacing the copper twisted pair wire in the ground leading from their boxes to your house they will never even come close to Comcast internet speeds.

This speed probably will not be fast enough.

We have the Century Link 10 Mbps service and can run 2 concurrent Nextflix streams plus a DirecTV live stream to an iPad in the evening with no issues.

We did have a spell (a few months ago) where we were not getting 10 Mbps all the time but that issue got resolved and streaming is now fine.

Brighthouse 60M speed seems ok for me. I still work full time and run Remote Desktop to my corporate office PC in south Florida, and I span the dual desktops across my second and third monitors here with no issues.
