Tall Trees Can't recall the title of the TV program in which Susan Sarandon played the President of the United States. Great show. Used to enjoy This is Your Life with Ralph Edwards. A real oldie. Colombo Angela Lansbury whodunit (can't recall the name of this one either, "senior moment").

HOWDY DOODY!!!!
How could I have forgotten Howdy Doody? And now the song just got stuck in my head. I was one of those skinny, picky eater kids. (got over it) My mother would not let me watch Howdy Doody until I ate everything on my plate. One time I told her, "Howdy Doody will wait." Well, of course, he did not. But in 1980 I think it was, I saved up to buy a Betamax so that they all would "wait." I guess I was just ahead of my time back in the 50's. Howdy Doody seems to have had a lot of influence on my life. Boomer |
