Default Replying to PM notices

The admins are still getting a lot of people replying to admin instead of to their intended recipients in Private Messages. At all the times this is a nuisance for us because it is part of your personal communication. Some of the times it is quite embarrassing for us to be in on such personal exchanges.

Please remember: Do not reply through your email Reply selection.
Return to Talk of the Villages, go to Private Messages and reply there.

And even easier way is to read to the bottom of the notification that you received in your email. You will find a link there that looks something like this.

Reply to this Personal Message here: https://www.talkofthevillages.com/smf/in. . .

Click that and you will be taken to the TOTV Private Message reply dialogue box.

Please?

You know, on second thought I just might offer you all the joy of posting your replies on the forum so that your intended recipient is sure to see them clearly out in the light of day. I wouldn't want them to miss your reply.

Just kidding about publicizing it. Couldn't resist. :

Tony, I don't even know if I reply to the pm's correctly.

Would you PM me and let me know.... after all, remember how   I am, I wouldn't want anyone to read my sleazy PM's.....

Kathie didn't Tony tell you - they are planning to write a book based on your sleazy pms?

I don't know if they will let you know whether or not your pm's are correct or not, after all they might want to write a sequel to the first book.

Guess the book could be called NOT SO INNOCENT NOTES FROM A SHY, RETIRING, WALL POWER WOMAN.

Sorry I could not resist. Now I am wondering if will be put on the ban probation list. Will I pass through customs? TSA?

Love ya,

HB

I know I've been guilty of this and the second I hit "send" I think, OMG, that went to the Admins. The saving grace is I know how many you must receive, so I'm not too worried that mine stand out.

Because I'm so bubble headed sometimes, I try to give friends my e-mail address to use instead of sending PMs through TOTV to avoid this problem! But some friends still persist in using TOTV PMs, and I'm not mentioning any names N--ie.

For the record, Barefoot's might be among the most interesting. I can't even show them to my dog.

And Kathie's, omigod Kathie.

(I'm just playing with you guys.)
