How do we delete a previous post we started?

A post or a thread? I don't know about a thread, but I do know you CANNOT delete a post. That is why people will edit their post and leave three (minimum number of characters permitted) /// marks. This essentially deletes their post.

Which i'll never understand. Everybody gets a chance to preview their post before submitting...but getting a second 'bite at the apple' is not right imo. If you say it...stand by it. If you mess up...apologize or deal with the fall out! /// smh

Or edit it to a political post and it will be auto deleted.
