When people attach a photo to their post all I see are the words "attached thumbnail" but no picture appears. Can you suggest what I need to do to be able to see the pictures?

Poster can not see other poster's pictures.

Once upon a time I saw nearly all attachments, but just lately most appear the same as you see. I have tried turning off AdBlock etc. but no joy. |

Check you browser to see if you have an ad blocker installed or active, turning this off usually cures this problem.

I see the photos from the usual photographers, but from B....99 and a few others I see "attached thumbnail", as well(?).

That's the only one that I do not see.

I'm sort of curious about the same thing.
Sometimes if I post an attachment, I can see it ... other times, I can't. I thought it had to do with the type of file it was, but I'm now convinced it's not that. If I use "Advanced" to post an attachment, it seems to work a little better, but still not every time. I'm sure there's someone on here, who understands the whys or why nots, but I don't. |

I have uploaded the tiniest of pictures, and i nor anyone else can see it. Sometimes the picture shows up, most times lately, nada
I suspect it has something to do with web site storage, and and running out of space faster than they are buying space. Web site hosting with pictures can get storage intensive quickly. . I have mostly stopped uploading pictures. . . good luck with everyone else's pictures |

Try a different browser (Chrome, Edge, FireFox, Safari, DuckDuckGo, etc.).

This is the fault of your VIEWING browser (PC, Mac, iPhone, and Android).. they all act differently for images attached.
Look for a warning message like "click here to see pictures"... This is likely NOT the fault of the original poster |

I'm not sure anyone is "at fault", but I can tell you unequivocally, it's not typically the browser used ... at least not in my case. I've tried Chrome, Firefox & Safari, all with the same results and I've never used an iPhone or iPad to access, so I'm not sure what happens with those.

Duck Duck Go is a search engine, not a browser.
