I use AdBlock Plus with Google Chrome. I don't see any ads. I believe AdBlock Plus also works with Firefox and Internet Explorer.

The site is FREE and our model is that is will always remain FREE and to have advertisers support the cost. There are countless hours spent maintaining it by the owners and contracted specialist. We thank everyone for their support and for considering the local businesses in The Villages for any of the services or products they have.

Honestly
I don't mind the advertisements on the page. I understand that's how the forum makes their money.
What I had trouble with was opening up the page and EVERY thread was a separate thread for a coupon for different things. I didn't count them, but it appears that several people did and there were seventeen. SEVENTEEN??? REALLY??? OK... OK.... I know the Admin is going to take issue with me on this... *hiding under bed* He will have to find me first!

If every advertiser wrote 17 posts, they would take over TOTV and turn most people off. I can see it now...All separate posts:
