If you are renting it yourself inside The Villages, please select
our For Rent section.

If your house is outside The Villages, post it in the
For Sale or Rent (Outside The Villages Only).

Both of these sections are marked free if your property is not being
advertised on a paid site or being handled by a professional for a fee.

If you choose to list on a paid site elsewhere on the internet, we can help
you with a paid listing through this following link. We allow pictures there,
too, and are happy to work with you on your ad. Following is a link to an
ad that has a picture. We can do many pictures.

If you have other questions, ask them here so everybody can see the
answers. If it is something I cannot answer, I will draw our advertising
genius in here. That would be Jan.

The links follow.

Default Management Service or Not?

Tony is right that TOTV offers a great service publicizing places for rent, but as the owner, your big decision is whether you can work things out with renting when you are not there. If you are like me, a distance away, it's impossible not to have a management company see to all the details and protect my interests when I have tenants.

That said, I've had three management companies in five years. I fired the Villages Property Mgt after one year. Their rules, fees, etc. drove me crazy! I hired a small local company. Better because of the personal touch, but the owners have retired. Now I'm with JD Management, at www.thevillagesforrentbyowner.com They are the best!! They manage about 100 properties so they can advertise and keep a high quality website, but it's a family operation which is immediately responsive to what I need - and on a first name basis. Check them out!
