Default How to save threads

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to save threads, like in a favorite place? We are building a house in Dunedin and I run across a lot of important stuff I might need in the future but can't figure out how to save it. I've used the search but that leaves something to be desired. Thanks for the help.

What I've done before is go to the page you want and copy the url link at the top and paste it in an e-mail and mail it to yourself. Maybe someone knows an easier way but this works for me.

I have a Villages folder in my bookmarks and just bookmark the thread and save it to that.

Buzzy is correct, you can subscribe to ANY thread you like then if any comments are made on that thread you can get an email notification.

It's true, you can subscribe to a thread, but after that thread is closed, you will have to do a search for it on the forum. It won't be saved anywhere on your computer unless you have saved the email notifications you got when you were subscribed to the thread when it was still open.

In 2012 I created a TOTV folder in my bookmarks (or favorites, I guess it is called on IE). Every thread I want to save is bookmarked to that folder. It's much easier to find than having to do a search on TOTV after a thread has been closed. The search function on the forum can be a little frustrating at times.

I do exactly the same thing and it works well for me.
I put the topic in the subject line of the email to myself,
i.e., golf cart mechanics, or dog sitters, or cleaning companies.
Then I copy and paste the url link in the body.
