Default Travel In Spain

Visiting Spain for two weeks in September 2013. Fly into and out of Barcelona. Looking for recommendations of places to visit hotels etc. Appreciate any input regarding the above and the best way to travel. Regards,
John

Barcelona has lots to see and do on it's own. The Gaudi house, La Sagrada Familla, Gaudi Village, Picasso museum, Salvadore Dalli museum, Barri Gotic, and great Tappas and other excellent restaurants. The Roman underground is also worth checking, and take the train North to Figueres and also go South to Montserrat. Use Rick Steves book and also go to virtual tourist. Go to this site to check out more on these things.

I spent a week in Barcelona and it was not quite enough time to see everything there.

@mtdjed
Barcelona is an amazing city. I live there now with my wife. A week is a solid amount of time...my in-laws and my parents both came for a week (at different times, thankfully) and they were able to see all the highlights. If you need any advice or tips, let me know. I know of a good company here that does private driving tours, as well as private walking tours and biking tours.
