HH - Cruise Critic is a great internet resource. If you go to the website I provided and type in YMT, you will find MANY comments from people who have used their services.

I will begin by saying "you get what you pay for"! We used YMT for a all inclusive trip from Boston. first cruise on Holland American and then trip across Canadian Rockies to Calgary and return home. Please read the itinerary very carefully as we were simply taken to motels and dropped. No evening plans, suggestions and in Jasper our motel did not have air conditioning! Look at the distance across Canada and you realize you are in the bus most of the days. To cap it off the tour company did not leave early enough to go to the Calgary airport for customs clearance. Customs for US is on Canadian side. The first bus group was in line to get through customs and missed their plane. YMT was already gone so these people had to pay extra hotel or airfare to get home. Fortunately we were in second group and barely made it. Would suggest you go the next level up for a tour company ad have better memories than we did!!!

Several years ago we took a Southwest bus trip (4 states and excursion to Tijuana Mexico) wiith them. I was coming from DC and met up with my parents in California. You are basically paying for a low class hotel and your transportation. Most, if not all, your meals are on your own. In LA, there wasn't even a restaurant nearby for dinner. On that trip, we had several excursions to pick from (at an extra cost) and they were good. It was a good trip but the hotels were pretty bad.

I didn't mention that there was a murder in the hotel room across the hall from us in Arizona (Phoenix?). It was a little disconcerting to see the yellow police tape every timee we left the room.

Like you, we were so impressed with the itinerary, but the reviews have scared us off. Have you found any other trip that sound interesting?

Several years ago took their Tournament of Roses parade trip, then Vegas (downtown) Death Valley Grand Canyon. Nice to see National parks in January when cool.

But, Only good part of Rose Parade part was the visit to the places where they built the floats. Our seats were an hour from parade route, the floats were done, the bands and all just walked by, no parade. Better on TV.

Got to see Reagan Library and Air Force One museum, was more interesting then our we saw Parade. They did not even take us to the park where all floats were displayed after parade.

They let my expensive suitcase fly out of bus and driver didn't stop till we demanded him to. Tried to have fixed on their dime but they did poor repair.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!
