Default Best Route to St. Augustine?

I have to travel on business to St. Augustine, U.S. 1 area. What would be the simplest route to take first thing in the morning on a weekday? I live between 42 and 466. TIA!

Route 42 East to Route 19 North. 19 North to 445a (go right). You'll soon come to Route 40. Go East on Route 40 to I-95. Go North to St. Augustine. Look for Route 1 North along the way, that will take you direct into the city.

Put the address in Waze or Google at the time of day you are planning to travel and it will show you the best route for that time of day.

It's a zip-zag route.

Done it many times, can change slightly each time......but really three minor change options.

Enjoy the journey.

Agree. I'm finding 429 (tolls) to I4 the easiest route now days. But check Google for traffic on I4.

It's not a freeway or turnpike route. It will be through the north part of the villages and county roads most of the way and over the St. John's river. Plan on 3 hours drive.

We have jumped on I-75 to Gainesville, that is usually 60-70 minutes, then over to St Augustine, less time on two lane highways ways. We use Onstar, so route can change depending on traffic. And our need to stop at a couple of places on the way

Yup, that’s how I’d go also.

We have done this route 7-8 times this year. More like 2 1/4 hours. We live in SS. Run a BING Search Lady Lake to St. Augustine 94 mile route. 2 lane road, rural , low traffic 5-6 lights to outskirts of St. Augustine
