Default Extended stay hotels

Has anyone had a good experience (quality/price) with an extended stay hotel chain in your travels?

We use a Residence Inn by Marriott - Extended Stay Hotel when we visit family in Merrimack, NH. They are excellent. If you get into the site you will see a photo of an actual suite, It's open plan with a full kitchen, small TV sitting area and bedroom/bathroom area. We find them extremely comfortable for an extended stay vacation.

There are several other chains doing this and I have to believe they are all much the same otherwise they would not stay in business.
