Default Place to stay at Clearwater Beach

Looking for a place to stay at Clearwater Beach with kids and grandkids-- total of six people for 3 nights. Would like to be on, or very close to, the beach. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

We stayed in Treasure Island, right on the beach at a place called South Beach. Perfect location and could walk to restaurants, etc...
If you want to be in Clearwater, may I suggest you go on ****.com. Stands for vacation rentals by owners. All you have to do is plug in the dates and town, and you will have a lot of selections. You may be able to find a home or condo which will hold all of you. Good luck. I always use ****. Have never had a bad experience yet.

I live five minutes from the Sheraton Sand Key and agree it is a wonderful spot.
**** would be ok for a week or more but not so for just a few days.
