Smile Jacksonville, FL Anyone?

I would love some real honest referrals for a nice, clean place to stay in Jacksonville for a night to surprise my hubby this winter. I don't know the area at all or the neighborhoods...so thanks for any insights!

Hyatt Regency Riverfront Jacksonville. Nice river views. Very close to numerous restaurants such as Morton’s Steak House. Close to Performing Arts Center so may be possible to coordinate with a function there.

You could try ****. I love Jacksonville, but very busy, very heavy traffic, lots of people. On the other hand you have the beach, great shopping, great restaurants and you are within easy reach of Amelia Island and other ocean areas.
