While I have used the Village Van (now Groom) and last year used Blue Line Transportation, I find that Groom no longer goes to Sanford Orlando Airport and The Blue Line Transportation is all booked up for the date I need. Does anyone know of any other services that provide transportation to Sanford Orlando Airport from the Villages?

Uber or Lyft…..24/7&365? If you have not done it or done it for a while you can probably get a discount on the ride. I just looked on Uber from my home in the south to Sanford is $70. Not sure how you can do any better? You can pre book with Uber if your worried about a ride for the time your wanting to leave.

We rent a car. Use autoslash.com & have them track the rate. You can book & pay when you pick up the car.
It is usually Avis or Budget from Leesburg with the best rate, around $55.

Where do you pick up a car though? Budget in Spanish Springs?

It has always been Budget or Avis in Leesburg for us, when renting a car to go to Sanford.
Our neighbors took us down & we went to the airpot from there.

I’ve used AM Luxury Chauffeur LLC in the past. It’s a car service. They’ll take you anywhere you want to go.

My only warning is that the tip for the driver is paid in cash and is somewhere between $14 and $20. It’s a huge company with drivers all over the state.

Disappointed but not surprised Groome no longer goes to Sanford. I've used them numerous times for a early morning Allegiant flight and rarely more than 2 of us on the van.

I have had very good luck with Uber to and from Orlando airport, probably Lyft is also fine. Download the app and try it out. No bus, no wait while it loads, unloads, and someone needs to pick you up. I will probably use Uber again, not bother with bus. I don't care that it's more expensive, it is still reasonable for door to door.

Whenever there is more than 1 person, UBER is most cost effective and reliable. Use them to Orlando when wife and I travel. Never crowded, waiting to pickup or drop off other passengers.

I rent a car and drop it off at the airport terminal. Cost around $50, but you have tolls and a couple gallons of gas.
