Good morning heading to Naples, Italy 5/31 any must eat places or must see? Also same question about Paris France!

I thought the boat ride down the Seine was fantastic. Up close and personal view of some very beautiful architecture. We always do the hop on hop off bus which takes you to all of the tourist attractions.

Take it in the evening, at dusk. It goes to the Eiffel Tower, whose lights blink for a few minutes (ten?) on the hour starting at dusk. We were advised that the dinner tour down the Seine is overpriced and not such good food, plus you're too busy eating to see much of the scenery. But I've heard others like it. We just did the boat ride sans dinner. It was very nice and narrated in several languages.

Another interesting jaunt was the barge ride up the Canal Saint Martin. Part of it goes "underground." A video is shown on the wall as you move along. The other part is above ground, with pretty scenery and at least one lock. If you go up to Montmartre (a favorite spot for us), skip the very crowded cafes up at the top in favor of Chez Marie down a little road around the corner from the chaos. They have the best onion soup and French fries, it's inexpensive and very quiet. PagesJaunes : Trouvez plus que des coordonnees.
You also can go up the "back" route to Montmartre after getting off the Metro and discover a couple of windmills, a statue of Saint Denis holding his severed head on a tray as he walked to... somewhere, and a famous conductor who is conducting through a wall. I prefer the Musée d'Orsay to the Louvre, especially if you're pressed for time. The Louvre can't be done well in one visit, and it can be overwhelming. Whatever you do, buy tickets in advance online so you can skip the very long line waiting to get in. Same thing with the Eiffel Tower.
