Default Playalinda Beach

We are planning a beach trip and our research keeps saying Playalinda beach is a very good option. Appears to be off the beating path, relatively crowd free, and a good place to relax for the day. Looking for feedback from people who have been there and done that. Looks like about 2:15 drive from the Villages?

It's been a long time, but my family used to go to Playalinda, it was a nice beach but had NO amenities. Used to be that only the north end was clothing optional, so we stayed south. That might have changed since then.

It is a beautiful beach! Here the link to the website. Playalinda Beach - Canaveral National Seashore
The only part that is rumored to be a nude beach is at the very end, parking lot 13. We went to parking lot 3. It is a very long stretch of beach (24 miles) so no danger of seeing parking lot 13 people down by the lower numbered areas.
