Default port everglade hotel/parking

Have you found a hotel to stay at that gives you a good deal for parking when taking a cruise? And also, how do you get back to your car and was it convenient. Thanks

Not sure what you would consider a good deal but we have stayed at the Rodeway Inn & Suites Ft Lauderdale 1-954-792-8181.
Once off the ship you call the number on the card that is given to you during your transport to the ship. In all probability, it will be a bit crazy as it usually is in Lauderdale but be patient and your shuttle will show up & get you back to your car..option B would be to call a cab.

Cool

Rather than staying in a hotel, why not just drive to your cruise on the morning of your cruise. Park at the pier and there is no waiting or confusion.

It's very easy to drive into the pier area and park in one of the lots or decks and this would be less expensive than staying in a hotel the night before, assuming you're not taking a really long cruise. If memory serves, parking is about $15/day at the pier of your ship.

Enjoy your cruise!

We used to do a park n stay in Ft Lauderdale or neighboring community but decided we wanted to leave our car in a more secure spot. Last two cruises we have used Park N' Go on Eller Drive in Ft Lauderdale. They provided separate buses depending on the ship you are going on...no more riding to every pier to drop people off. Pick up at the pier after the cruise was easy. Plus the cost is half the price of parking at the pier.

Because we like to go a day early, we stayed at a great place in Lauderdale by the Sea (about a 15 minute drive to Park N Go). The name is Beachside Village Resort. Half block to beach, great hospitality, very clean rooms, and easy walk to restaurants and shops.
