Default Celebrity Cruise out of Port Canaveral

Has anybody sailed on Celebrity from Port Canaveral?

It is 2 hours away by car...
Should we consider going up the night before?
If not is parking close to the cruise terminal?
We are not able to hobble too long a distance and are concerned about lugging suit cases as well.

We have always saile from Fort Lauderdale or Miami (many times each).
We have never used the facilities at Port Canaveral. I am in the process of trip planning resulting in minimal risk and ease of getting from parking to the ship.

Any other suggestions will be appreciated

Celebrity does not start sailing out of Port Canaveral until December 2024.
When we cruise out of Port Canaveral we drive our car, it takes about 1hr 40min. Celebrity being part of the Royal Caribbean family will probably sail out of an RC terminal and they have parking garages attached to the terminal building. They have a drop off area for luggage/passengers and then you can park the car and take an elevator down to the entrance.
There are parking lots off site that will shuttle you to and from the cruise terminal if you rather do that.

Would not say overnight.
Parking is easy.

We usually get there an hour early, jus in case on the drive, and we get on the ship early.

We got there once, two hours early and enjoyed the extra time on the ship.

Enjoy.

We always drive … approx 110 miles. We use Park Port Canaveral on Thurm Blvd & shuttle to port. All luggage is taken care of & the price is right.
