Default Tauck, Classic Italy Tour

Just booked an Italian Classic Tour with Tauck. We are going next October. Has anyone taken this tour and what did you think? Were the hotels good? I hear it's a first class tour company, just hoping we didn't jump the gun in signing up so fast. Need some reassurance We signed up through AAA and they offerred some perks.

We have not done the Italy tour, but we did a Hawaii Tauck tour.

They are first class tours which is why they are pricier than others to the same locations.

We did the Classic Italy Tour 2 years ago, and it was beyond our expectations! Our tour director and local guides were very knowledgable and the entire trip was flawless. We stayed in amazing hotels and venues and would do it all again! This was our first Tauck trip (actually our first tour company) and we are "hooked"! We traveled with them to Barcelona and France last year and are booked for a river cruise next year. If you would like additional info, please PM me.

Sounds wonderful, guess I'll have to go buy more lottery tickets though and hope I win....LOL Luckily did a 2 week tour of Italy back in the 80's and $4k included air, nice hotels, all touring by bus with a great Italian tour guide half the meals and that included a lot of spending money! My how times have changed, glad I did it back then! Enjoy!
