Default Jacksonville Things to Do

We'll have a full day in Jacksonville prior to a next-day trip to Mayo. What should we make sure to do?

Thanks, Diane

Jacksonville Beach is right nearby - easy parking - and just walk over to the dunes.

Visit the landings in downtown. On the water with lots of interesting stores and food.

Take a ride to Mayport and have some fresh shrimp on the water at Singletons.

Thanks for the suggestions. We'll definitely try some this time and the rest on the next visit.

If you are going to Mayport.. try the Safe Harbor Seafood.. 10 times better then Singletons !!! Also.. seafood lovers - Shrimp at Osteens in St Augustine is worth the trip !!!
The Landing downtown is overrated.. Town Center has wonderful shopping... and and there is a Home Goods in Jax and a Costco !!
