We rented a car (one way) to and from the Sanford Airport for $150 each way and drove the 1 1/2 hours instead of the airport van at $70 per person that takes 3 1/2 hours in a van with up to10 passengers and multiple stops.

I guess enough hours have passed and no one took a flyer on this one. So I will.....

How many people were in your party?
If it was two, then using the van service would’ve cost you $280RT...you spent $300 on the rental and whatever gas you used....to shave off two hours of travel time. Let’s say the costs between the two options are a wash at about that $300 figure....I would say it wasn’t a bad idea. Unless you had to drop off the rental in some weird remote location and take a shuttle to the terminal
