Default Visiting Memphis

Headed to Memphis for a few days. Will hit Graceland of course- will that take a full day? Also plan to do a city tour, incl Sun Studio. Any recommendations for other things to do there, restaurants (BBQ of course) and hotels ( Downtown or stay elsewhere)?

TIA

Best BBQ in town is The BBQ Shop on Madison. Beats Corky's. Both are wet ribs. Rendevous if you like dry ribs but really, they aren't that good.

Rendezvous ribs are great! If you like dry-rub ribs you definitely need to stop there. If I could only stop at one place it would be Rendezvous.

Dyer's Burgers
Insomnia Cookies
Ghost River Brewing and Flying Saucer Draught for craft beers
