Default A Walker Stowed on an Airplane? A Bike Stowed?

Does anyone know if you can stow a walker in the overhead baggage compartments on the plane? My sister is visiting and bringing her walker.
Thanks so much, Carol

My sister uses a transport chair &/or a walker. Both have been taken at the plane door & stored in the cargo area.

Yes, they will inspect the items and tag them at the main check. In with baggage. Then at the gate agent will tag it again and you use the walker/chair down the jet way and they will take the device and see that it is placed with the baggage. We just did this last week on our trip back to TV. Hope this helps.
