[QUOTE=Topspinmo;2461834]One dollar each. Pretty good for snack or light breakfast.

[url=https://www.walmart.com/ip/Banquet-Sausage-and-Gravy-Deep-Dish-Pot-Pie-Frozen-Meal-7-oz-Frozen

Assuming this was posted as humor.

Love the ingredients

FILLING: Water, Sausage Crumble Made With Pork And Turkey (Pork, Mechanically Separated Turkey, Soy Protein Concentrate, Salt, Spices, Sugar, Dextrose, Natural Flavorings, Citric Acid, BHA, BHT), Modified Corn Starch, Nonfat Dry Milk (Nonfat Dry Milk, Vitamin A Palmitate, Vitamin D), Chicken Flavor (Wheat Flour, Chicken Fat [With BHA, Propyl Gallate And Citric Acid Added], Fully Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil), Soybean Oil, Nonfat D, multiple animal ry Milk, Modified Food Starch, Acetylated Monoglycerides, Salt, Monosodium Glutamate, Spice, Xanthan Gum, Guar Gum. CRUST: Wheat Flour, Lard (Deodorized Lard, Hydrogenated Lard, BHT [Preservative]), Water, Dextrose, Salt, Caramel Color. CONTAINS: MILK, SOY, WHEAT.

Sounds like just what the Doctor ordered. Multiple animal (Pig, turkey, chicken, and various deodorized lards} mechanically separated random parts mixed with slaughter room sweepings and sold for only $1.

I bet that someday they will invent similar products and call them Beef, Chicken or Turkey Pot Pies and sell them for $1. We would be able to eat at $21 per week. To celebrate once in a while, we could intermix a slice of Spam or a frozen Fish stick,

No need for anymore $15 dollar hamburgers from Mallory Country Club.

So, what do you think you’re getting behind closed doors. Do what you want . And there IS NO need for 15 dollar hamburger that costs about $ 1.25. Course if one can’t cook they get what they deserve prepared behind closed doors. I also figure there will be some rants about on healthy and why 5’ 11” 172 pound 74 year old person eating such unhealthy and why so fat? Please elaborate?

My neighbor raves about “flying bisque”, she must had everything on menu was over $40. Little pricey for me…….

I looked at the menu, and everything on it was a lot less than $20.

One thing I don't like about breakfast places is that they all want to charge an outrageous price for a cup of coffee. The Flying Bisquit price is $2.89 plus tax and tip, which makes it almost 4 dollars for one cup of coffee, if you don't want refills. Some places don't even show the price on the menu.

They have succeeded in producing a D.E.I. meal , what's to complain ?

Looks like the sausage sage and onion pies I used to buy for lunch when I was studying at Oxford forty years ago. Those pies are one of the glories of British cuisine. So delicious. Even though these are probably not as good, the price is definitely right. But my arteries are screaming “Just Say No”.

Correct for some restaurants, but I have seen beer prices on a lot of menus.

Personally, I think that advertising a "complete" breakfast for a fixed price that doesn't include coffee is deceptive, especially when coffee for two will cost almost 8 dollars at a breakfast restaurant.
