very correct, but many that do vegetarian will make changes to vegan requirements

I would call Sweet Tomatoes or drop in and talk with the manager. 751-2500

They offer many vegan salads and may be able to make you what you want on the day you need it or tell you what will be offered on the salad bar the day you need it.

Also...........here is a refreshing SALAD........for vegans and non vegans alike.

Indonesian Coleslaw Salad:

Servings: 6
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 0

Ingredients:
1 bag shredded coleslaw mix
1 small red pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup bean sprouts
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup chopped peanuts

Indonesian Coleslaw Dressing:
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons minced ginger
2 teaspoons sesame seed oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 clove garlic, minced

Directions:
1. In large bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients for the salad.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk dressing ingredients together.

3. Just before serving, pour dressing over salad, toss and sprinkle with peanuts.
