Default Bisquick to the rescue
Buy a box of bisquick. The recipe is on the box. Very easy and tasty drop type (not rolled) dumplings. Other than that all you need is a chicken and some chicken broth!

My husband says the Bisquick recipe is for "fluffy cloud" dumplings!! He cannot wait until the weather turns cold so I will make them for him!!

A couple years ago we were in McCall's and decided to have their chicken and dumplings special. The dumplings were egg noodles! Since then our yearly dinner at McCall's is usually a cheeseburger.
