Christmas EGGNOG French Toast

cinnamon
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
butter
nutmeg
1 1/2 cups eggnog

Whisk together egg nog, milk and eggs.

Dip bread in egg mixture, sprinkle bread with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Grill on hot, buttered griddle, until golden brown on each side.


Top with fresh fruit or cherry pie filling and sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with butter and maple syrup.

　

**French Toast actually turns out delicious if made with sliced French baguettes rather than white bread.

Recipe can be doubled or tripled easily, depending on how many guests you are serving......
