If you've been invited to an impromptu New Year's get together, wanting to bring something, but not the typical bottle of wine as a hostess gift, .........bring this. It's so easy that even a child can make it.......everyone loves it.


　
SHRIMP * CREAM CHEESE * SEAFOOD COCKTAIL SAUCE APPETIZER

6 oz. can tiny shrimp (or small bag of frozen cocktail shrimp, thawed, drained)

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened......or enough whipped cream cheese to spread on plate.

8 oz. bottle shrimp cocktail sauce

Spread cream cheese on plate.

Cover with cocktail sauce, but leave a bit of a rim of cream cheese near edge of plate.

Drain shrimp

Arrange shrimp over cocktail sauce.

Serve with RITZ crackers - or Keebler Club crackers. Triscuits are also good.

Arrange the crackers all around the edge of the plate, embedding them into the cream cheese.

You can sprinkle some dried green herb of your choice over the shrimp, lightly....or not.


If you are hosting, this will disappear quickly.......so have enough to either make MORE.....or think ahead & have extra plates prepared in frig.
