Talking Crockpot Chicken Quesadillas.

Crockpot Chicken Quesadillas Recipe - Food.com

One of my dog park friends mentioned this. I will have to try it if I can find my way around the Southern Trace Shopping Center Publix after all the changes.

So glad you posted this, Tal. A coworker of mine mentioned this to me some time ago, but I had forgotten about it and never got the recipe. She said they were so easy and delicious. Can't wait to try them! Thanks for posting the recipe!

I downloaded the recipe and showed it to the head chef - she said sounds good, go get the ingredients and we'll have it tonight .

She slow simmered it in an open 8 Qt sauce pan for 3 1/2 hours instead of the crock pot which took 6 hours because we didn't want to start eating at 10 PM.

Topped with avocado and sour cream. Used refrigerated salsa from the store deli dept instead of chip dip salsa. Used large flour tortillas - too much; recommend regular size tortillas.

Very tasty!

Thanks for posting!

Folded in half, put toppings on and ate with knife and fork.

Sounds good and easy. There is a website that has 31 freeze ahead crock pot recipes. All are easy and very good.

Just had the leftovers for lunch - great

Got two complete meals for two from the pound of chicken etc.

Head Chef told me to get ingredients again and this time she'll use the crock pot to see if it is any different than the sauce pan.
