I didn't see this on any of the other posts so please help if you can. I have had several knives for nearly twenty years and until I moved down here, had my own sharpener and was able to keep them honed quite nicely. Now I need to get them sharpened and am looking for a butcher, store or someone to do it for me. Does anyone know of someone who does this? TIA

There is a fellow at Marion Market that sharpens them while you wait - very reasonable and sharp!!!

Turn into market off of 441, and he is right at the entrance into the market opposite of where the Y is. On the right as you're facing the market.

Or talk to your haircutter and find out when scissor sharpener will be around. Have had my knives sharpened that way for years (and thanks for the reminder -- they really do need it again).
