I fixed a ground beef mixture with taco seasonings and fresh cilantro and cheese and minced fresh tomatoes and onions over...pasta.

We didn't have taco shells.

And a salad with a sweet dressing (poppy seed)and apple slices. (Neighbor just brought us a bag of apples from Buffalo, New York.

And iced tea.

But Gracie . . . Julia Child would hate it. Cilantro, you know!

BUT . . . I'd love it!

The rest of my Chik-fil-A salad that I didn't have time to finish for lunch and a few hot wings husband brought home from Publix because neither felt like cooking. 9 more days and business is sold. Eight weeks later we are full time frogs and will have time and energy to eat a more heathy diet! Can't wait!

I was just thinking we hadn't had a WFD thread lately.

I made tomato pie because the picture seduced me. Substituted ricotta for the mayo and used twice as many tomatoes. Also had a simple cucumber and feta salad.

Oh boy hard to tell what it is. Picture too small, but hey its my first picture.

It's peeled zucchini strips substituted for pasta with turkey tomato sauce. I know it sounds awful, but it's delicious. Lots of garlic, mushrooms, green peppers, oregano, and onions. I bought some sea salt rosemary rolls from Fresh Market which were wonderful and a nice compliment to my meal. Sorry no picture of rolls, lol.

My wife and I constantly try new recipes having maintained regiment of nightly dinning with conversation and a glass of wine. Cooking and enjoying your endeavors is one of life's pure pleasures. I can't think of a better form of therapy then cooking and a better manner of satisfaction

Last night we had teriyaki pork. It was delicious. We participated in a new Pampered Chef Dinner's Done event and this is one of the 18 meals we prepared and put in our freezer. I have been quiet impressed with the freezer meals we made in about 2hours that day. It is so easy. I should have taken a photo. I will take a photo of the next freezer meal and post it on this thread.

Nice thread. The tomato pie made my mouth water. Lots of good ideas.
