Default Anyone stack their washer/dryer?

I'm looking at buying a high efficiency washer and dryer that can be installed as a stackable or as a side by side. Stacking would give us extra storage in the laundry room which I would love but I do have concerns about how convenient it would be to use. Has anyone done stacked their w/d? Is it difficult to load or unload? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

We don't have a stackable in TV, but in the NY home we're about to move away from we have a Kenmore stackable W&D. Although my wife does almost all the washing, I do find it easy and convenient to load and to move the load up to the dryer! Had stackable previously and love that one too!

We have the high efficency Samsung. They are stackable but the bottom of the washer door would be about a foot off the floor. This would mean a lot of bending to unload. We have the W&D on the stands that can be purchased seperatly. This puts them both at a perfect height. Most of the stores have the stacked models sitting on a platform of some sort that can be deceiving.

We have stacked HE LG washer and dryer, no issues loading or unloading. And were happy to fill the extra space.
