Hmmm, my weather radio has not gone off for either the tornado watch or this severe thunderstorm warning.

Just checking, have others received alerts on their radios today?

What kind of radio do you have, Bo? I need one. I got text/cell/home phone alerts from NWS via the SSO (sheriff) too.

Ok, thanks, guess I need to check the programming on my radio. I know the test worked on Wednesday.

Stay safe everyone...

I'm watching the NCAA game I recorded yesterday....Pooh, I let the Emma out without a leash, knowing she'd take a quick leak in our yard and scurry back to her furry warm papasan bed!

We have a Midland. I believe we bought it at Publix for around $35 four years ago.Wouldn't be without it living here.

Emma is a smart girl! saw Molly, the golden retriever who lives near us, also take a very QUICK potty break and hurry right back indoors. Glad we humans can use indoor facilities...

You guys are lucky, most dogs we have had, turn around as soon as they feel the rain drops hitting their back. Yikes!

Our weather radio works like a charm. We had it programmed for Sumter County alerts at the local fire hall.

I wouldn't have one of those squeaky radios in my house. They go off all day long and nothing happens... So a little rain hit,, I was in the middle of it driving around. No biggy. Better than something scaring the hell out of me for no reason.

Kathie, you're funny. We had our Weather Radio programmed so it doesn't squeak for thunderstorms. It doesn't bother us at all, unless there is a tornado watch.
