Cool

For that price tag I would want to be on the water
(Gulf or ocean).

I remember being blown away by the homes out on Baypoint Way. There are three homes that sit out on a little isolated point. Just beautiful. I suspect they could have been around 1.5m a couple of years ago? Now that the driveway is painted and the garage attic stairs in maybe they are 2.4

Not sure it is one of those but the back view looks like it could be.
I have to admit it I have no idea where Baypoint Way is nor the little isolated point. I am so uninformed about locations here.

You are correct, on both counts. I, for one, have seen several homes in Bridgeport at Lake Miona, and next to Glenview CC that are under $1M that I liked a LOT more than this one and were almost as big. Way too ornate for my taste, but to each his/her own. BTW Gracie and Henry's home is MUCH more inviting and warm than this one and they paid a bit less also.

I do not think it is the house on Baypoint, but they are very unique. Here is a nice map, zoom in or out to get bearings. You can move the map around to see Clearwater Run on the north side of Lake Miona.

Fun map snooping as I get ready for some Friday evening fun....

PS. If I could ever (will not happen without lottery) afford to spend 2.4m on a home, I think I would spend it on 2 and enjoy various lifestyles in various places.... I can only dream of such things I am afraid....

Being from northern Iowa, I know Minn only has 40 days a year warm enough to do anything outside, and the the Mosquitos will eat you alive as soon as the sun goes down.

I win the UK lottery about three times a week right now, I wonder if they'll take a check from the National Bank of Nigeria.

Before the Bubble burst they were selling houses near Clermont (US 27 south of Leesburg) in this price range----2.2 million was the cheapest of 8 open houses we saw on what was called "street of dreams". We were curious enough to pay $10.00 a piece to tour them. I wonder if the subdivision was completed? About six months later, the financial crisis hit.

I wonder why no pictures of the landscaping. Seems like a house like that would have some phenomenal stuff. It really reminds of the house on Baypoint that originally sold for $1.6M, but I don't remember seeing any statues in the pool area (used to watch the house next door before the owners moved here permanently), but I do remember the pool looking very much like this one.

And I'm definitely in the group who would not want to live in that decor. Way too overdone. UGH

Clearwater Run is in Bridgeport at Miona Shores. If I am thinking of the right house, it was a Sanibel that was redone just a year or two ago.

Oh, Gracie, I thought this was your house.... isn't that a picture of you and Sweetie on the settee in the den?

I think the owners of this home aren't concerned about being the most expensive on the block. If you have the money, you want what you want, good for them!

Yes, it is fully furnished.
Now you can see the value, right?

I guess if you can't find a nice patio villa, it's the next best thing!
