Default 2 year old grandson visiting in Sept.

Just wondering if there are places close to the Villages to bring our 2 yo grandson. Kids water parks, zoos, nice playgrounds etc.
Thanks in advance

There's a nice playground by the Lady Lake Library. A boat ride on Lake Sumter is always fun. If you own a golf cart, it is probably the best entertainment you have. That, and dancing in the squares. I know my grandson loved doing those things when he was two and three.

We have an almost 2 1/2 year old granddaughter who visits often from NJ.

There's another nice playground in Lake Okahumpka State Park on CR44 just east of Buena Vista. And one on Powell Rd (but that one doesn't have any swings) And don't forget the small playground near Lake Sumter Landing (across from Cody's).

Go to Uncle Donald's Farm on CR25. It's a great place to see lots of animals, take a hay ride and milk a goat.

Magic Kingdom in Disney has lots for a 2 year old and they're free until they are 3 years old!!

And, of course, there is always your local family pool. I know our granddaughter would happily spend most of the day in the water. And the rest in the golf cart!!!

And that's how the recent trouble started.

It goes without saying to dance with the little one.

A couple of inexpensive new toys and giving him forbidden treats should put you on his good side and make his parents eyes roll.

Two year olds don't belong in golf carts
