Default Sliding screen on CYV.

The sliding screen on our CYV that leads to the side keeps on sticking. I’ve tried lubricating it without success, I’m not sure what’s causing it. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Sliding screen typically have rollers top and bottom, I am guessing one or more rollers have failed or jumped the track, which is causing the screen to stick. If this is the case, some of the hardware stores sell repair parts, or if you are lucky it might just be an adjustment.

Removal and good cleaning/lubrication of the rollers tracks might help unless rollers are frozen? My cheap sliding screen rollers are spring loaded, only adjustment I have on the sliding door and if it’s 15 plus years old that probably corroded and won’t adjust?

I watched a few videos and used a putty knife to try and push the rollers back on the track, I did hear a click so who knows. Then I adjusted the top and bottom, cleaned the tracks and lubricated with silicone. It’s not perfect, but a lot better than what it was.
