Default Oak Meadows

I saw a neighborhood, accessible through a gate behind shopping plaza that has Pier One, Ross etc ( Rolling Acres Rd almost at 27/441)
it had a sign OAK MEADOWS
you needed a code to go in, so we couldnt
My question is...if that isnt part of TV
can those people who live there, come out in a cart and access our roads, and squares in TV?

anyone know?

Last time I was in there you did not need a code. As far as I know that is one of the family neighborhoods.

If you really need to get in (?) go to the west side of Target and drive right in the back way. There is no gate.

Anyone can access our squares, they are public places. Some of the nearby communities can get into the villages too. If you stop at the gate and state your business the left gate opens. So they CAN swim in our pools, until someone checks their IDs, and the same for any other activity. It has been MY experience that IDs are checked religiously. I have heard others who disagree. We live south of 466 and go to the Hadley Pools and to the rec centers nearby.

I just checked the list of villages in The Villages and Oak Meadows is one of our villages.

Gracie, I agree. I know when we go to the Bonita Pool, it seems like once an hour CW is there checking IDs. JMHO, but I think CW patrols the pools really well for non-residents.

Oak Meadows was the first family section of The Villages. Residents have full access to The Villages.

I was swimming on Thursday at our adult pool, and IDs were checked. There was a 32 year old woman swimming in the pool. The ID checker asked her age and to see her ID. The woman said she was visiting in TV but didn't have a Visitor's pass. The ID checker allowed her to stay.

If you're in the pool they don't ask for your ID at the Duval pool.
So the enforcement can be hit or miss depending if you're in thew water and aren't legit.
IMHO.

Yes, I've noticed that the ID checkers don't usually question swimmers at our adult pool. Unless they look young. But hopefully the fact that there are Village checkers will act as a deterrent to those without proper ID.
