Default 466A to 441/27

Is 446A from TV to 441/27 still under construction, or is it passable now?

466a from 301 to the red light at 462 is still under construction. 466a from 462 to 441/27 is fine.

AND it won't be until November till it opens according to the paper. I'd bet on January.

It is amazing how long road work takes in Florida. Being from the Northeast I realize now how quickly they complete road work there.

Gotta agree with you there. The road work on 441/27 from north of 466a south for several miles has been ongoing for at least two years now. Would have been completed in six months or less in Missouri.

What the heck are doing to that part of 466A? From the intersection of that road and 462, you can' tree any work going on. They started this April almost a year ago. Ridiculous.

My observation with constuction in NY has been:

Seven union guys in a circle around a shovel. Six are leaning on it, and one is willing to work but can't use the shovel.

I seen some constuction projects that are ongoing for several years, like the one on 287, (Tappan Zee Brige to CT). It's been going on at least fours years or longer. I'll have to ask my friend, when that will be finished, but I won't be holding my breath. Traffic is heavy on that route at 5 PM so it's a bear.

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait, I moved to Florida.

466A may be a joke, but 441 is no bargain either!

That's right, Joe. You won't have to hold your breath over the Tappan Zee--NEVERMORE!

There was a stretch of I65 that was continually torn up through Nashville. On our way from MI to FL, we never failed to hit that unless it was after dark, raining, or rush hour. Or any and all of the above. 441 reminds me of this. It's been torn up since we got here in 2011, and I'm sure before as well.

I guess 466A should be considered a breeze in comparison.

I've always said, have the crews that build TV homes do the roads and they'd be done in nothing flat. I can't understand why on 441 when I go by that I never see anybody working on it. The paper said the finish date is June but I wouldn't bet on that.

My experience is that Florida has some of the best roads I have seen. I have seen a lot worse, including in the Northeast. Looks like time well spent to me and at probably have the cost as in the Northeast.

It's only because Florida doesn't get potholes and cracks from snow and ice. At the rate repairs and road construction are done here it would take them 4 years to fix a pothole. Be thankful.
