Default Logan’s Roadhouse

I just got this email from Crossman's Geno Jarquin. Some may be interested.

Residents of The Villages,

We at Crossman & Company thank you very much for all the support and team effort you all are providing in reaching out to national retailers/restaurants. We have had great success with The Fresh Market, Olive Garden and Red Lobster due in large part to the efforts of the residents of The Villages!

We have heard from many residents that you would like Logan’s Roadhouse to open a restaurant in The Villages, FL. Please reach out to Logan’s Roadhouse and let them know much you would like to see them open a restaurant inside The Villages with golf cart access and tell them about the growth and need for their food and customer service at The Villages, FL.

1) Send a letter to the President requesting they come to The Villages, FL.

I have eaten at Logan's in Ocala many times. It is a great restaurant with lots of menu options. I could see them putting one in here!!!

We ate many times at the one located in Gastonia, North Carolina while we were living there. Excellent quality food at decent prices.

It's interesting that the Villages Commercial property folks sent this email out just as Whiskey Creek was closing. Wonder if they are trying to recruit Logan's for the Whiskey Creek site and soliciting Villagers to help with the campaign? Logans would be a natural replacement for WC....hopefully, would be much better managed and operated.

I've gotten previous emails from Geno in the past. Among them was:

Residents of The Villages,

We at Crossman & Company thank you very much for all the support and team effort you all are providing in reaching out to national retailers/restaurants.

I have compiled a list of national retailers that residents have requested of who they would like to see open a store in The Villages town centers (i.e. Lake Sumter Landing and Villages of Spanish Springs). Please reach out to these listed retailers and let them know much you would like to see them open a store at The Villages town centers and tell them about the growth and need for these national retailers at The Villages, FL.

You can also send us any additional tenants you would like to see in the “Town Centers” and pass this along to anyone you feel could help our efforts.

Oh, and if I might add, if the idea of Logan's or any of these other places appeals to you, please do as Geno asks and contact them by mail, electronically, or both. It does help.

Put in a link to TV web site, maybe the Crossman Villages commercial site, and maybe even to TOTV.

We had a Logans in Fredericksburg, VA and it was an excellent place to eat. Their house dressing was a fantastic peppercorn and their menu was great. They could serve large groups or small groups. We always enjoyed our meals there. Would be great if they would come here.

WE think Logan's would be an excellent addition to LSL. At this point, any well managed, responsible, accurately priced (given our econiomy) would succeed there. Whiskey Creek, unfortunately, wasn't any of the above...Hello, they weren't..or they would still be there.

Muncle.

I am probably reading too fast and not understanding who Crossman is and why they are promoting so many different restaurants and retailers. Is Crossman somehow connected to the developers? Who is Geno? I don't think he is related to my cousin Vinnie* :dontknow:, but if he is I will write right now!

*Not to worry. No self respecting second generation German American has a cousin Vinnie. I do have an Uncle Karl and a cousin Franz Joseph!

Crossman is a commercial real estate developer and "broker" for The Villages, aka, The Developer. It's their job to get new businesses in here.
