Have been in Costa Rica (2/07), Guatemala (2/11) and Panama (2/12). Each had superb weather during that time. Highly recommend Jaco (Manuel Antonio State Park) or Arenal in Costa Rica. My favorite... lake Atitlan, Guatemala. In Panamaa it would have to be Playa Blanca area.

We spent February one year in Panama and the weather was absolutely beautiful. Can't recommend a specific place, as we were on the move from one coast to the other.

Boquete in the mountains is beautiful and has many ex pats living there. However, we were told it never gets hot, varying from 55 F to around 80 F.

The locals were very friendly and overall happy (photo is on the bus from David to Boquete). I'd go back!

I would also vote for Arenal in Costa Rica. Smack dab in the middle of the rain forest with natural hot springs. Northern Costa Rica on the Pacific side is just beautiful! Mount Arenal is more central. We've been in February and March and enjoyed the tropical weather. Just don't go during rain season.

We've been to Costa Rica and Panama and would highly recommend Costa Rica as others have stated. It's one of the few places that we would like to travel to again.

I lived in Costa Rica for five years (2005-2010) in the Central Valley (San Jose metro area).

Stunning beauty and fabulous climate. Left because cost of living there began to approach cost of living back in Texas (and here in The Villages).

Nearly all of my ex-pat friends there have left Costa Rica. Many moved to Boquete Panama. Been there and it's a nice place, but kinda small. But my buds there all say they are happy there.

Catch me at Cody's sometime (or PM me) and I can tell you way too much about Costa Rica.

If you go to Panama you want to be on the pacific side...That is where all the shopping malls and restaraunts are at...The military base is on the atlantic side and all the problems that come with that !

If it stays this cold next week when our grandson and his dad comes to visit, I am going to send a letter to Gary Morse asking for my money back.

Spent a couple of months in the USVI, island of St. John, (Dec & Jan) and the weather was great. Cost of living is really high and only one golf course on St Thomas. Never made it to St Croix.
